"A Walk through Q" by Craig Shillitto, Yoandy Rizo Fiallo, and Osmany Abel García Fuentes, explores Queens' diverse food traditions as a lens for understanding immigration's cultural impact. Nested within Entre Fronteras, the project responds to themes of borderlands. Through a communal barbecue-based meal, it symbolizes cultural exchange, with each dish

representing Latin American BBQ traditions. The installation, transformed into a communal table, embodies migration and sustainability, as it's built and devoured during the meal. By highlighting food's role in cultural transmission, the project prompts reflection on immigration experiences and contrasts traditional food-ways with modern consumption practices.
