Bar(b)acoa is a thought-provoking land art installation commemorating the historic encounter between Columbus and the Taino people in Baracoa, Cuba. Through minimalistic forms and symbolic elements like a fire pit and shipping container, it reflects on the Columbian Exchange and its impact on global food culture. Collaborative artwork adorns the container,

depicting the encounter's narrative. Aligned with the summer solstice, the installation invites contemplation on cultural exchange and sustainability, fostering dialogue through participatory events. Bar(b)acoa envisions an intercultural and ecologically sound future through art and architecture.
